Brand Board

One page that pins down how your brand looks and sounds. The foundation everything else gets built on.

About the Brand Board

Most small businesses do not have a brand problem. They have a consistency problem: the sign, the website, the flyer and the Instagram feed were all made by different people on different days, and none of them agree. The Brand Board fixes that in one page. Built custom, never pulled from a template, and the foundation for the website, the social campaigns and the print, whether you build those now or later.

Quoted in writing after a free 20-minute call. The smallest project on the menu, and the one most people wish they had done first.

Who it is for

Three reasons people start here.

  1. You have a logo and nothing else The logo exists, but every flyer, post and business card has been a fresh guess. The board ends the guessing.
  2. You are not ready for the full site The board is the foundation the site, the social and the print all get built on. Do it now, build the rest when you are ready, and nothing has to be redone.
  3. More than one person makes things for you A sign shop, a nephew, a printer, a freelancer. Give them all the same page and the business looks like one business.

How it goes

Three steps, about two weeks.

  1. A conversation.

    Kickoff call

Who you are, who your customers are, what you already have, and what you want people to feel when they see your name.

  2. A draft.

    Within two weeks

The board, built custom, with the logo work included when the project calls for it. You see it, you react, it gets adjusted.

  3. The handoff.

    Final files

The board as a page you can share, plus the logo files and color codes in every format a printer or a web platform will ask for.

Common questions

Questions about the Brand Board

Do I need a Brand Board before a website?

Not required, but it is the fastest way to a site that looks like you. If you start with a website project, the brand work gets folded into the build. If you start with the board, the website, social and print all inherit it later with nothing redone.

I already have a logo. Does that change the board?

It shortens it. The board documents the logo you have, cleans up the files if they need it, and builds the colors, type and voice around it. If the logo needs rethinking, that is a conversation, not a surprise.

What do I get at the end?

A one-page board you can open in a browser or print, the logo in every format (PNG, SVG, light and dark versions), the color codes for print and screen, the font names and where to get them, and the voice guide. Everything a printer, a sign shop or a web platform will ask you for.
